What is the Curated Winery Tour?
A Curated Winery Tour is a personalized wine itinerary designed around your holiday. Rather than following a standard tour, you’ll visit carefully selected wineries chosen for their wines, hospitality and authentic character.
You can either explore independently using our detailed itinerary or choose the hosted experience with Francesca accompanying you throughout the day.
Based on your menu, we carefully select the Italian wines that best complement each course. You can then choose between two options: enjoying the experience independently with our Wine Pairing Delivery or having Francesca join you as your private sommelier throughout dinner.
Do you book the winery appointments for us?
Yes.
Whenever required, we’ll contact the wineries and arrange the appointments, making the planning process simple and stress-free.
How do you choose the wineries?
Every winery is selected based on wine quality, hospitality, authenticity and the overall experience.
Our goal isn’t to take you to the most famous wineries, but to the ones that best match your interests and create a memorable day.
How many wineries can we visit in one day?
Most itineraries include 2–3 wineries, allowing enough time to enjoy each visit without rushing.
The final itinerary always depends on travel distances, opening hours and your preferences.
Is the Self-Guided Tour difficult to follow?
Not at all.
You’ll receive a clear, easy-to-follow itinerary with timings, directions, practical tips and recommendations, allowing you to enjoy the day confidently and at your own pace.
What's the difference between the Self-Guided Tour and the Hosted Tour?
With the Self-Guided Tour, we create a complete itinerary including recommended wineries, suggested timings, scenic routes, lunch recommendations and practical travel tips. You explore independently at your own pace.
With the Hosted Tour, Francesca accompanies you throughout the day, sharing local knowledge, helping with each visit and making the experience even more personal.
Can we choose which wineries to visit?
Absolutely.
If there are wineries you’ve always wanted to visit, we’ll happily include them whenever possible.
Alternatively, you can leave everything to us and we’ll create an itinerary based on our personal knowledge of the region.
Do we need a car?
For the Self-Guided Tour, yes.
You’ll follow the itinerary using your own vehicle or a rental car.
For the Hosted Tour, transportation can be discussed based on your location and the experience you’d like to create.
Which wine regions do you cover?
We mainly organize winery tours in Tuscany and Umbria, but we can also create personalized itineraries in other Italian wine regions upon request.
