Do you come directly to our villa or holiday home?
Yes. All Wine Things experiences are designed to take place directly at your villa, holiday home or private accommodation. We bring the wines, glassware and everything needed, so you can enjoy an authentic Italian wine experience without leaving your property.
Which areas do you cover?
We primarily offer private wine experiences throughout Umbria and Tuscany, including Lake Trasimeno, Perugia, Assisi, Cortona, Montepulciano, Val d’Orcia and surrounding areas. Experiences in other regions of Italy can also be arranged upon request.
Can the experience be customized?
Absolutely. Every experience is personalized according to your preferences, group size, wine knowledge and the occasion you’re celebrating. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed aperitivo or a premium wine tasting, we’ll create the perfect experience for your stay.
Do we need any wine knowledge?
Our experiences are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to passionate wine lovers. The atmosphere is relaxed, approachable and enjoyable, with no technical knowledge required.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes.
If your experience includes food pairings or an Italian aperitivo, we can adapt the selection for vegetarian guests and take allergies or dietary restrictions into account whenever possible.

What is included in a Wine Things experience?
Every experience includes carefully selected wines, professional sommelier service (where applicable), wine storytelling, complete setup and all the equipment needed. Depending on the experience you choose, additional services such as food pairings, aperitivo specialties or wine tours may also be included.
Can you organize experiences for birthdays or special occasions?
Wine Things regularly creates private experiences for birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings, honeymoon trips, bachelorette parties and celebrations with friends. Every detail can be personalized to make the occasion truly memorable.
Can children join the experience?
Children are welcome to join the experience with their families. While the wine tasting is designed for adults, younger guests can still enjoy the atmosphere together with the group. According to our pricing, guests under 18 are free for applicable experiences.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during spring and summer, when availability is more limited due to the high number of visitors staying in villas throughout Umbria and Tuscany.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Since most experiences take place at your villa or holiday home, they can easily be moved indoors if necessary, allowing you to enjoy the experience comfortably regardless of the weather.
Do you only work with private villas?
No.
Although private villas are where most of our experiences take place, we also organize wine experiences at holiday homes, boutique accommodations, private residences and selected hospitality venues.
